Admitted as lawyer in 1988. Founding partner of tdwe. Certified Specialist Lawyer for Criminal Law since 1997.

Member of the criminal law committee of the German Federal Bar Association and Chambers (since 1997).

Lecturer at the Distance Teaching Open University (FernUni) Hagen (1996 to 2007) and lecturer for white collar criminal law at the advanced training facility of the police, Continuing Education Institute Neuss (1995 to 2000). Appearance as expert in the Legal Committee of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) (concerning EU Arrest Warrant, EU Procedural Rights).
Numerous lectures and publications on criminal law.

Practice focus: defense of individuals in all areas of white collar and tax criminal law with particular focus on bribery cases, criminal law offenses against property and assets and capital market criminal law as well as providing advice to companies in investigation proceedings and preventive measures in the area of compliance.  

In branch services (JUVE, Wirtschaftswoche, Handelsblatt, etc.) repeatedly recommended for many years as a lawyer for white collar criminal law.
